Probably the best mushroom extract coffee on the market atm. Love it 🥰
The aroma is earthy and slightly herbal, with mild roasted coffee notes and the body is quite light, with a soft, almost tea-like mouthfeel.
It’s a must try!
A delicious and innovative coffee that helps you wake up feeling good in the morning. The nice box has become my son's toy box!
This infused coffee brews wonderfully in my cafetière and aeropress and tastes lovely! I love the smell and would highly recommend this to my friends
Even without the added mushrooms, I would buy this delicious coffee. It's gorgeous! But I also really notice a difference in my concentration level after consuming it. Amazing!
I am a huge coffee lover and I can say this is a great organic coffee! The taste (and smell) of the organic Honduran arabica combined with the subtle nutty flavour of the mushrooms extract is just exceptional. I am excited to experience the full range of benefit from it!
Amazing!
I've been trying this coffee for about a week now, and I can already feel a difference. I’m honestly shocked at how much more focused and clear-headed I’ve been. Highly recommend giving it a try!
I'm a bit of a coffee snob and so I'm always a bit sceptical when coffee comes pre-ground (as it reduces freshness) and when it's adulterated with extras in the mix. But I've been very pleasantly surprised with this. Because the coffee is so freshly roasted, it retains its aroma and taste and most importantly you get the added benefits of the mushroom (without sacrificing flavour). I found that I was less likely to over caffeinate myself and experience any jitters. This feels like a high quality health product to taste and the branding matches the experience. Will definitely buy again
Just drank my first cup of brewed coffee and it's great!!!
It's rounded and it has a second pleasant flavour that kicks in after a while different from any coffee I had in my life (maybe the mushrooms?). The tasting is overall very good, and my first cup is getting empty very very quickly.
This mushroom coffee brews beautifully in a French press, creating a smooth, gentle crema. I've tried it two ways - once with frothed almond milk and honey, and another time with natural cacao powder added for a mocha twist. Both tasted great and left me feeling energised, mentally clear, and even curbed my usual snack cravings throughout the day. Best of all, no grittiness, or strong mushroom flavour—unlike other mushroom coffee brands I've tried. A perfect blend for focus and energy without the crash.
I recently tried Myco:Soul Mushroom Coffee, and it was a great alternative to my usual cup of coffee in the morning. I enjoyed the smooth flavor and noticed a subtle boost in focus without the typical caffeine jitters. I recommend mixing it with almond milk and a touch of honey to enhance the flavour. I noticed a boost in focus and mental clarity without the jittery feeling I get from regular coffee.
Love this is a clean and ethically sourced coffee. Very smooth and balanced taste. Even my husband who is not a big coffee drinker loves this one.
I don't taste any mushrooms but the coffee is delicious :)
Coffee tastes good.

'Pure' mushroom extracts... containing more maltodextrin than mushroom? 'Premium' mushroom coffees... made with freeze-dried instant? Single mushroom products... with infinite benefits? This is how fads come and go... but mushrooms have been used for centuries for their health benefits in the Far East. We can do better than this...

The FAQs:
Who are myco:soul?
myco:soul is a health start-up established by Aura & John, a pair of bohemian layabouts with an interest in research-backed alternatives to todays plastic, bulked, factory produced multi-vitamin miasma.
Why mushrooms?
Mushrooms contain many bioactive compounds which are beneficial to health. The primary ones are beta-d glucan, triterpene, cordycepin and polysaccharide.
Variations in growing mediums, mushroom types and extraction techniques lead to the presence of different amounts of compounds. We have cracked this to a T.
Please refer to the supplement facts on the label, where the mushroom and bio-active compounds are listed.
What's mushroom extract?
Mushrooms are harvested and put through either hot water extraction or alcohol extraction, like making tea on a large scale.
Once enough time has passed to sufficiently pull out the beneficial compounds, the liquid is then “spray dried” into a fine powder and turned into our products.
WTF is Maltodextrin? (A Dirty Secret...)
Maltodextrin is a highly processed carbohydrate derived from starch, often used as a thickener or sweetener in processed foods. It's a bulking agent.
Mushrooms extracts are produced using water and/ or alcohol and many suppliers add maltodextrin to the mushroom extracts to dry it out and turn it into powder, cheap and fast. As it's a "processing agent", it's not shown on the ingredients list...but it is often 50%+ of what you're buying
The way to identify this is to ask your mushroom supplier if they use it? Or ask what is the Beta Glucan count in their extracts? If they use Maltodextrin, the Beta Glucan count will be low, about 5% because most of the powder is in fact Maltodextrin...
Companies that use it are selling products which less effective and damaging the reputation of mushroom extracts.
Maltodextrin also has a high glycaemic index, which can cause rapid blood sugar spikes. It may also promote inflammation and negatively affect gut health by altering the balance of beneficial bacteria (Tachon et al., 2013). It also acks any nutritional value...
It's naughty stuff. Avoid the companies that use it.
What are the myco:soul benefits?
How long you got?
We've listed out the researched backed benefits of each mushroom we use in the Blends with Benefits section on the product pages. Check 'em out.
When will I see the results?
Each person’s experience will vary, as individual bodies metabolize beneficial compounds differently. The effects of functional mushrooms often become more noticeable with prolonged use. Some benefits may be felt immediately, while others, like immune support, are more subtle — ie not getting sick as often.
Will myco:soul products make me trip?
Our mushrooms are magic...but they they aren't psychedelic.
Where are your mushrooms grown?
myco:soul is dedicated to providing the finest mushrooms globally, allowing you to truly experience a noticeable difference.
We cultivate our mushrooms organically and sustainably on multi-generational family farms in Southeast China and our Chaga comes from Siberian forests.
China boasts a rich and revered history when it comes to growing medicinal mushrooms. The utilization of these mushrooms in China is not just a passing trend; it's ingrained in their way of life.
We've spent years forging strong relationships with our mushroom cultivation partners, ensuring that quality and integrity are upheld at every stage of the process.
Where does the coffee come from?
Our coffee comes from an all female, certified Fairtrade co-operative in Ocotopeque, which lies in the western part of Honduras, bordering with El Salvador and Guatemala.
Our coffee is expertly roasted, ground, blended with mushrooms and packaged and shipped next day from our roastery in Sommerset.
Are mushrooms safe?
Functional or Medicinal mushrooms have been used for thousands of years very safely.
All myco:soul extracts are properly and thoroughly extracted and tested. We keep the third party test certificates, showing the beneficial compound count and showing the products are free from heavy-metals, mycotoxins and certified Organic, before we accept them.
If you're on medication or have a pre-existing condition, consult a healthcare professional before use, as interactions can occur. If you have mushroom allergies or specific medical concerns, assess the suitability of a mushroom supplement individually.
Are your mushrooms certified organic?
Yes, all of our mushrooms are certified organic. Our coffee too.
Fruiting body vs mycelium - what do I need to know?
Mushroom products exhibit disparities in quality. We exclusively use the complete Fruiting Body of the mushroom only. We meticulously extract it to preserve the presence of advantageous compounds in the end product.
Certain companies opt for shortcuts in the cultivation process through a method known as "mycelium on grain" These products tend to be rich in starchy substances derived from rice or oats.
What do your mushrooms listen to?
Our mushrooms like jazz, they also like dub...and they love NTS
