Any last questions?
Real ground coffee — roasted to order — with functional mushroom extracts at the doses the research actually used. One cup, every morning. Brewed exactly like your regular coffee. It just works harder.
Ground.
We use freshly roasted coffee beans — not freeze-dried instant.
Brew it like proper coffee: French press, V60, Moka, Aeropress, espresso… whatever your ritual is.
Every 15g serving of Cognitive contains 1,000mg Lion's Mane, 350mg Chaga and 150mg Cordyceps — all organic fruiting-body extract, all above 45% β-glucan, all disclosed on the pack.
Lion's Mane is the one the research is built on. Mori et al. (2009) identified the mechanism: compounds in Lion's Mane stimulate Nerve Growth Factor, the protein your brain uses to build and maintain neural connections. Saitsu et al. (2019) ran a 12-week double-blind randomised trial at 1,000mg daily — the same dose we use.
Chaga is traditionally used for immunity and recovery. Cordyceps is associated with oxygen utilisation and endurance, which is why it leads the Athletic blend.
The dose is the whole argument. Most instant mushroom coffees use 500mg or less of blended mycelium — a fraction of what the trials used. We use fruiting body only, at research-grade doses, and we publish the numbers.
Start with Cognitive if you drink coffee in the morning to think. It is the best seller and the default. 1,000mg Lion's Mane leads the blend, 150mg caffeine, single-origin Honduras Arabica with notes of pear, fudge and butterscotch.
Choose Athletic if you train. Same coffee base, but the ratio flips — 1,000mg Cordyceps leads, with 350mg Lion's Mane and 150mg Chaga. Rich and chocolatey. Built for before training rather than before a spreadsheet.
Choose Decaf if caffeine is the problem, not the point. Identical extract profile to Cognitive, but Swiss Water Processed to 99.9% caffeine-free — no chemical solvents. This is the afternoon and evening cup, and the one to pick if you are caffeine-sensitive.
Most people run Cognitive in the morning and Decaf after 2pm. If you cannot decide, The System has all three.
One 225g bag (£25) is 15 servings — roughly two weeks. It is the right choice if you have never tasted it and want to know whether it is your coffee before committing. Be aware you will finish it before the extracts have done anything measurable.
One 450g bag (£40, or £26–£32 on subscription) is 30 servings — a full month, and the standard replenishment size.
The System (£60) is 45 servings total: 15 each of Cognitive, Decaf and Athletic. It is the cheapest way to try all three and work out your own rotation rather than guessing.
On timing: Lion's Mane is not a stimulant and the clinical research measures outcomes at weeks four, eight and twelve. Two weeks tells you about the taste. Twelve weeks tells you about everything else.
The De-Caf is 99.9% caffeine-free (Swiss Water Processed).
The Performance and Athletic blends have approximately 150mg per serving — about 10% less than a standard Arabica cup, with a significantly smoother ride. No spike. No crater.
Exactly like you make regular ground coffee. Use 15g per cup. French press, Moka, pour-over, AeroPress. The mushroom extract is fully water-soluble — it won't clog a filter or stick to a screen and you won't lose it in the process.
Nope. It tastes like coffee — just smoother.
Think: real coffee flavour, with the sharp edges taken off.
The mushroom extracts don’t make it taste “fungal”… they make it taste rounder, richer, less acidic.
Coffee 2.0, basically.
Yes — it’s built for daily use.
Think of it like upgrading your normal coffee ritual rather than adding another supplement routine.
Start with 1 cup a day, run with it for 45 days and then adjust based on how you feel.
You won't. And that's the point.
Lion's Mane isn't a stimulant. It works by stimulating Nerve Growth Factor — the protein your brain uses to build new neural connections. That process takes roughly three weeks to load.
The clinical research measures results at weeks four, eight, and twelve. Not week two.
This is why we do 90 days, not 30. One bag is a taster. The system is the product.
